landscape & surfacing

Playground surfacing is a key component of any school playground and we can help guide you through the choices. From Mounds to Daily Miles surfacing can create additional avenues for all weather play in your school. Surfacing is also tactile and by using a variety of surfacing types you can improve the sensory appeal and aesthetic of your playground.

Bonded Rubber Mulch

Bonded Rubber Mulch is a popular playground surface that can be used in a variety of settings. It is a recycled product made from coloured SBR tyre granules and shred which is combined with a binder to create a natural bark looking product, which blends well with many surroundings.

Just Like Grass

Our biggest artificial grass product, Just Like Grass can be used to effectively cover and reinvigorate large spaces affordably and with great effect.

Play Grass

Our Play Grass surfacing has a short pile and comes in 15 different colours. It comes with a 10 year guarantee and will provide years of all weather play.

Active Sports

Other Playground Surfaces

There are many other options for landscaping in your playground through the inclusion of mounds and tunnels and walkways to create a truly individual space.

We can also create a bespoke design with a range of surfaces to suit your requirements, including play sand, play bark, wet pour or paving.

In a SEND setting resin bound gravel or self binding gravel our popular options to improve accessibility.

Thanks so much –we are really pleased with the final product – the extra sand and the ‘buffing’ has really tightened up the surface and it looks great. Thanks for coming over so quickly.

The children are each running a mile to mark its opening!
