Little Willows EYFS Playground

Little Willows Day Nursery is tucked away in the heart of Bath.

Considering its central urban location, Little Willows is blessed with a large garden which was well used but in need of rejuvenation. The garden was mainly grass and this limited how often the outdoor space could be used during the wetter months. In addition, the ground sloped away to one side, creating very muddy unusable sections.

Burbage Trim Trail

We have a strong relationship Burbage Primary School in Wiltshire, built through a succession of successful playground development projects. Following on from the installation of new all-weather pathways at Burbage, we were asked to put forward our proposals to redevelop an underutilised area of the playground. The area was linked to the main play area at the school but was unable to be used as the old timber trail was rotten and the bark pathway amongst the trees had become overgrown and full of puddles and trip hazards.

The team at the college had the vision for using this space for the students for recreational and horticultural experiences and this is the remit they gave to us to design the new space.
